Supafone + Claude & Codex

Give Claude and Codex a phone.

Connect Supafone once and your agent can search every call you have had, read the transcripts and notes, work through your open follow-ups, and have your Supafone AI place a real call after you say yes. Setup takes about two minutes.

You need the Supafone iPhone app and Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex or another MCP client.

Example in Claude Desktop, ask about a call:

  1. Create your key in the app

    In Supafone, open Settings, then Use with Claude & Codex, and copy your key. It starts with sfp_. Everyone gets one automatically. The key only sees your own calls, and you can revoke it there anytime.

  2. Add Supafone to Claude or Codex

    Claude Code: run this once in your terminal, with your key.

    Claude Desktop: open Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config. Add the block below to claude_desktop_config.json with your key, then quit and reopen Claude Desktop. It needs Node.js for npx.

    Codex (OpenAI): add this to ~/.codex/config.toml with your key, then restart Codex. It works in the Codex CLI and the IDE extension.

    Any other MCP client: point it at https://api.supafone.ai/mcp with the same Authorization: Bearer header, directly or through mcp-remote.

    Claude.ai and the Claude app: no key needed. On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Supafone and paste https://api.supafone.ai/mcp. Click Connect, sign in with your Supafone email and password, then click Allow. It works in the Claude phone app too.

  3. Ask Claude or Codex

    Start a new chat. Supafone appears in Claude’s list of connected tools. Try one of the prompts below.

Things to ask

  • “What did Acme push back on in my calls last week?”Searches your call notes and transcripts by meaning, not just keywords.
  • “List my open follow-ups and draft the emails.”Reads the follow-ups Supafone pulled from each call.
  • “Summarize every call I have had with Dana.”Pulls the full history for a person or number.
  • “Have Supafone call +1 203 555 0142 and book a cleaning for next week.”Claude asks you to confirm before any real call is placed.

Built to be safe

Claude has to confirm before it places a real call, and calls go through the same number checks and rate limits as the Supafone app. Your key only reads your own calls, stays in your Claude config rather than the chat, and can be revoked in the app anytime.
